AI as a People Experience Amplifier

AI doesn’t create culture. It amplifies the people experience you already have.

Deloitte’s 2025 Global Human Capital Trends report highlights a widening work experience gap. Sixty-six percent of leaders say recent hires aren’t fully prepared for the demands of work, yet fewer than half see it as a critical issue. That imbalance reveals a bigger truth. AI will amplify what organizations choose to value. If it’s used to gatekeep talent, it will scale exclusion. If it’s used to create opportunities for growth, it will scale inclusion and capability.

Used well, AI can capture institutional knowledge, support less-experienced employees in
complex work, and accelerate learning through real-time feedback. Used poorly, it reinforces outdated systems that leave people unseen or unprepared.

Everyday Moves
Review one open role and replace “years of experience” filters with clear outcomes and human capabilities you actually need.

Encourage experienced colleagues to record short process walkthroughs, then use AI to make them searchable and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.

Let AI take care of status summaries so you can use your regular meeting time to strengthen skills, provide feedback, or make decisions.

Managers cannot outsource the employee–manager relationship to technology. Your choices decide what AI amplifies. If you design gateways into meaningful work, AI accelerates experience. If you design gates that keep people out, AI closes them faster. The opportunity is to pair human judgment with intelligent tools so people gain the experience your organization keeps saying it needs.

What is one change you will make this week to use AI to build experience for your people?
