The road to victory goes through the Employee-Manager Relationship. As a leader and manager, you must get to know each team member. Understand their goals and personal interests.  Learn about their families, etc. The stronger your employee-manager relationships, the more engaged your employees will be.  Remember, according to Gallup, “Managers Account for 70% of Variance in Employee Engagement.1

 

While we’ve determined the overall champion, there are no losers. Add some of the key participants in each of the 4 brackets to your team. You can and will see a difference if you stay in the game. You can make a comeback and defeat disengagement.

 

Let’s not wait to try and score a buzzer beater. Pool your money and bet on your people because not focusing on employee engagement is madness.
