In March, our Employee Engagement Briefings highlighted 40 employee engagement-related articles. Here is a recap of the Spotlight Articles of March 2017.
Customer Think: “So what is the truth behind some of the common practices that so many call center leaders assume or think is working, that are in fact creating unintentional self-sabotage?”
Josh Bersin: “In the just-released report, Deloitte Human Capital Trends 2017, titled “Rewriting the rules for the digital age,” we describe the top ten disruptive trends impacting business, with a set of “new rules” for each.”
Greenhouse: “In Part 2 (this post), I’ll share: 1) A quick refresher on ELTV; 2) How we used ELTV to refine our onboarding metrics; and 3) Some of our learnings from that process.”
Harvard Business Review: “At its simplest, reflection is about careful thought. But the kind of reflection that is really valuable to leaders is more nuanced than that. The most useful reflection involves the conscious consideration and analysis of beliefs and actions for the purpose of learning. Reflection gives the brain an opportunity to pause amidst the chaos, untangle and sort through observations and experiences, consider multiple possible interpretations, and create meaning. This meaning becomes learning, which can then inform future mindsets and actions. For leaders, this “meaning making” is crucial to their ongoing growth and development.”
