Article: The Employee Engagement Hoax
Link: http://www.forbes.com/sites/lizryan/2014/07/06/the-employee-engagement-hoax/
Author: Liz Ryan

Comment: Ms Ryan mainly talks about the futility of using an annual employee survey as a measure of engagement and her suggestions for getting feedback directly and in a more timely manner. Her definition of employee engagement is that employees are expected to put the company’s needs above their own. I disagree.  The company and employees need to be on the same page and work together for mutual benefit.
